Color Studies

Color Studies are the first of my new artworks — giving up the idea that some images just don’t go with others (work boots with ball gowns). These ask whether if you take a yellowgreen ball gown, dye those work boots purple and wear an artful concoction with flowers, rhinestones and small hardware items on your head, you can end up the belle of the ball.

The game here is to find multiple ways that images (just like words) can be joined together meaningfully — so don’t expect a single style.
