Cyanotype photography is only the beginning for one of Wu Chi-Tsung’s overpowering works. Traditional Chinese Xuan paper (a rice paper), coated in photosensitive chemicals, is hung outside for the chance illuminations of the sun.

This is later crumpled under liquid and collaged seamlessly onto aluminum sheets. The artist’s feeling for stormy waves, turbulent whitewater and subtle atmospheres behind remind you of the savagery of Poseidon’s wrath.
